Senior IFA Administrator / Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IFA Administrator / Team Leader to join a fast‑growing independent financial planning firm. The role blends hands‑on IFA administration with leadership of a small, expanding support team, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level IFA administration support to financial advisers.
• Oversee day‑to‑day workflow of the administration team.
• Mentor, support and develop junior administrators.
• Act as the primary liaison between the admin team and senior management.
• Help design and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Contribute to team growth and structure as the business expands.
• Maintain high standards of client service and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in IFA or financial‑planning administration.
• Good technical understanding of financial‑planning products and processes.
• Previous experience supporting or mentoring team members (desirable).
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Proactive mindset with ownership and improvement‑driven attitude.
