Senior Information Developer (BI & SQL Expert)

About the Role

Join a highly skilled and dynamic team at one of Yorkshire's leading acute Trusts. Following significant investment in new data warehouse systems and Business Intelligence tools, we are looking for an experienced Information Developer to drive our data capabilities forward.

Main Missions

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the data warehouse and reporting cubes.
• Interpret complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Design and implement new technical architectures using the SQL stack and modern BI technologies.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and clinical/administrative staff across the Trust to ensure data accuracy and utility.
• Provide high-quality data insights to support decision-making processes within the NHS.

Candidate Profile

• University degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience in software or information development.
• Strong logical thinking skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Previous experience working within the NHS is highly required.

Required Skills

• Expertise in the full Microsoft SQL Stack (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).
• Advanced ETL processes and Business Intelligence development.
• Proficiency in SQL Server environments.
• Knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
