Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a government client on a six‑month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week on site split between London and Milton Keynes, with the remaining days working from home. The position operates inside IR35 and requires Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, including Azure Arc‑enabled servers.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Azure Monitor Agent, Log Analytics workspaces, data collection rules and dashboards.
• Manage large‑scale deployment and maintenance of XDR/EDR security agents on Windows and Linux servers.
• Administer Windows Server environments, perform patching and routine maintenance.
• Provide Linux server administration and ensure reliable hybrid cloud operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, cloud or systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security or equivalent.
• Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance or ability to obtain it.
