Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Linux & Cloud Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead Linux and cloud automation initiatives within a fast‑moving enterprise environment. The role combines hands‑on Linux administration, Azure cloud operations, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code to deliver reliable, automated services.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full Linux patching lifecycle across enterprise systems using Ansible.
• Manage Azure Linux VMs, Update Manager, backup services and related cloud infrastructure.
• Design, develop and maintain IaC deployments with Bicep and ARM templates.
• Build and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Administer Azure Key Vault, handling secrets and certificate lifecycles.
• Implement infrastructure changes and contribute to Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.
• Resolve technical escalations and support major incident response.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Strong experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations or managed services.
• Proven Linux administration skills across RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu and/or Oracle Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible for patching and configuration management.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including VMs, networking, backup and governance.
• Experience delivering Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Bicep or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Ability to script and automate tasks using Bash or PowerShell.
