Senior Insight Analyst

About the role

Sanderson is seeking a commercially‑focused Senior Insight Analyst to turn data into actionable business decisions. Based in Bristol with a 50% hybrid working model, you will join a growing analytics team that drives insight into customer value, profitability, retention, growth and acquisition performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial, product and customer teams to deliver insight that influences strategy.
• Analyse customer behaviour, lifetime value, profitability and retention trends.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve commercial performance and the customer experience.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business actions.
• Support strategic projects and champion data‑led decision making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an analytical, commercial insight or customer analytics role.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and data‑storytelling abilities.
• Commercial mindset with a track record of influencing decisions through insight.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake.
• Python for data analysis.
• Dashboard creation using Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Sigma.
