Senior Insolvency Administrator

About the role

Our client, an established firm of Insolvency Practitioners in Altrincham, is expanding and seeks a Senior Insolvency Administrator. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate insolvency cases while developing your career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of corporate insolvency matters, including CVLs, MVLs, CVAs and administrations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day case administration from appointment through to closure.
• Prepare statutory reports, documentation and correspondence.
• Investigate company affairs and identify potential asset recoveries.
• Liaise with creditors, directors, solicitors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant insolvency legislation and best practice.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Maintain accurate case management records and systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate insolvency, preferably at senior administrator level.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases from initiation to closure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• CPI qualification preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
