Senior International Tax Manager

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking a Senior International Tax Manager to join its Finance team at the London headquarters. This 1‑year fixed‑term position works in a hybrid model (minimum three days in the office) and supports the Group Deputy Head of Tax on complex international tax matters across more than 40 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to global regions on international tax and transfer‑pricing issues.
• Partner with external tax advisors worldwide to deliver commercially aligned tax solutions.
• Lead and support non‑UK tax audits, ruling negotiations and transfer‑pricing audit defence.
• Manage and enhance Group transfer‑pricing documentation, including Master File and Local Files.
• Support global tax planning, cash‑repatriation strategies, funding structures and acquisition integrations.
• Monitor international tax legislation, assess business impact and drive timely implementation of required actions.
• Contribute to legal‑entity simplification and broader group restructuring initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to regional finance teams and central functions, providing clear, pragmatic guidance.

Required profile

• Chartered Tax Adviser or qualified accountant with suitable tax training.
• Degree holder with Big 4 training and strong post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience handling international tax matters, including tax structuring, M&A and tax controversy management.
• Experience developing, managing and improving global tax and transfer‑pricing frameworks.
