Senior IT Project Engineer (Infrastructure & Cloud)

About the role

Join a dynamic MSP environment where you will take full ownership of technical change implementations for a diverse client portfolio. As an IT Project Engineer, you will bridge the gap between hands-on technical expertise and structured project execution, ensuring high-quality delivery from initial validation to final deployment.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, cloud, network, and telecoms projects.
• Implement and configure Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, networks, and end-user environments.
• Drive complex migrations, system updates, and new deployments across client infrastructures.
• Conduct pre-deployment validations, risk assessments, and readiness controls.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timelines and project scopes are strictly met.
• Act as a technical lead during client interactions and manage technical delivery.
• Perform on-site interventions including audits, onboarding, and complex installations.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation (implementation plans, configurations, and handovers).
• Provide go-live support, including occasional out-of-hours deployments to ensure minimal client impact.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a technical project delivery role, preferably within an MSP.
• Strong ability to balance hands-on technical tasks with structured project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach to risk management and quality assurance.
