Senior IT Support Analyst & QA Tester

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Support Analyst who will also act as a QA Tester for our UK trading platform. The role focuses on validating UK‑specific enhancements, tracing order flows across multiple systems and ensuring data integrity through rigorous testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and execute end‑to‑end test scenarios covering Front Office, trading engines, Middle Office and Back Office systems.
• Trace the full trade/order lifecycle across integrated platforms, verifying accuracy at each stage.
• Perform integration testing with Head Office back‑office teams and validate FIX message flows.
• Conduct reconciliation testing between front‑end records, middle‑office positions, back‑office bookings and external data sources.
• Collaborate with UK developers, business analysts and operations to understand changes and testing scope.
• Identify defects, document reproducible steps and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test artefacts, scripts and results for audit and regulatory purposes.
• Support release cycles with smoke, regression and go‑live verification, and assist in automating repetitive test scenarios.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Science or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting OMS/EMS systems on a trading desk.
• Hands‑on experience with FIX systems and end‑to‑end testing in investment banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of the trade life‑cycle from Front Office to Back Office settlement.
• Experience with trade and position reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating environments.
