About the role

We are recruiting a Senior Java Developer to join a leading technology team within a global banking organisation in London. The role is hybrid, requiring 2‑3 days on‑site, and focuses on building and modernising high‑impact financial platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend solutions for critical banking services.
• Modernise existing systems and build robust APIs.
• Contribute to micro‑services architecture and enterprise application delivery.
• Collaborate with an experienced engineering team to shape technical solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise‑grade applications.
• Proven ability to work with micro‑services, secure and reliable software development.
• Banking or financial services background is highly desirable.
