Senior / Lead Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to boost productivity, profitability, and overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze key production KPIs, including OEE, yield, and downtime, ensuring alignment with core business objectives.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to identify optimization opportunities and eliminate waste across the production lifecycle.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to enhance global manufacturing effectiveness.
• Mentor and coach production teams to foster a culture of accountability, high engagement, and continuous professional development.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in manufacturing process development and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a production environment.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, material science, and precision tolerancing.
• Demonstrated ability in structured problem-solving and technical decision-making.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must have the permanent right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is not available).
