Senior Linux System Administrator – Gloucester

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join our fast‑paced team in Gloucester. You will work with a group of Linux specialists designing, building and operating the platforms that power the business worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Linux‑based server infrastructure.
• Manage email services and ensure reliable protocol operation.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python.
• Implement configuration management and orchestration tools.
• Support and optimise SQL database environments.

Required profile

• Strong Linux server administration experience.
• Solid understanding of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3).
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with configuration‑management tools.
• Experience with orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
