Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Join a fast‑growing data science team that is transforming pharmaceutical intelligence. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer you will lead the design, development and operationalisation of AI solutions that help patients access life‑saving therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end pipelines for data ingestion, model training, validation, deployment and monitoring.
• Optimise ML infrastructure for scalability, robustness, cost efficiency and low latency.
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists and engineering squads to deliver AI/ML solutions for complex business problems.
• Define reference architectures, including code‑interpreting, LLM tool usage and secondary data‑science models.
• Stay current with research advances and present findings to internal teams.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building large‑scale, data‑intensive AI/ML applications in an industrial setting.
• Strong background in system design, latency optimisation, cloud infrastructure, knowledge graphs and MLOps.
• Proven ability to develop distributed systems in an agile environment and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
