Senior Manager, Distribution - UK & Europe

About the role

Sky's Content Distribution team manages agreements that generate hundreds of millions of dollars annually by distributing its content and services to non-Sky platforms. This Senior Manager role supports the distribution of Sky's Apps across streaming device partners in the UK and Europe, driving subscription growth for each Sky App business. You will manage and support a portfolio of projects and deals, negotiating and managing some of Sky's most valuable contracts while balancing strategic, financial and regulatory considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the strategic distribution of Sky's Apps and TV channels (NOW, Sky Go, Sky Store) to major third-party platforms such as Apple, Amazon, Google TV, LG, Samsung, Hisense, Roku, PlayStation and Xbox
• Lead and develop strategic relationships with global device partners
• Negotiate, renew and manage commercial partnership agreements, including commercial, proposition and pricing changes
• Identify new partnership opportunities and build business cases to unlock growth
• Work with NOW/CCO and Global Streaming Platform teams to represent Distribution priorities
• Support major technical initiatives, product launches and feature integrations across partner platforms
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Technology, Content and Strategy teams
• Use commercial insights, performance data and partner reporting to support decisions and negotiations

Required profile

• Experience managing strategic partner relationships
• Experience negotiating and managing commercial agreements
• Strong understanding of the European and North American media and technology sectors
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across business areas
• Financial and analytical capability, including business case development and commercial evaluation
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship offered

Desirable

• Detailed knowledge of the European OTT and streaming market
• Experience on multi-territory deals for a multinational organisation
• Knowledge of major OTT providers, connected TV platforms and device ecosystems
• Experience in media, entertainment, technology or consumer electronics, and in supporting new product launches or distribution partnerships
