Senior Manager, Finance & Tax

About the role

This newly created senior position sits at the intersection of strategic finance, tax, and commercial analysis for a diversified property portfolio. The role requires a commercially‑minded finance professional who can dive into tax and debt structuring while also communicating effectively with shareholders and lenders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to evaluate financial and asset performance, investment returns, and risk.
• Lead budget modelling, scenario planning and develop new analytical tools.
• Drive tax planning initiatives, corporate restructurings and transaction‑related work, ensuring legal compliance.
• Conduct periodic tax position reviews to identify efficiencies and mitigate risk.
• Serve as the primary finance contact for shareholders, lenders and strategic partners, preparing reporting packs and ad‑hoc requests.
• Contribute to strategic direction, value‑creation opportunities and capital allocation decisions.
• Lead debt modelling, covenant monitoring, forecasting and support capital raises and corporate transactions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven track record in tax planning, corporate transactions and restructuring.
• Experience engaging with lenders and managing debt covenants.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence presenting to C‑suite and shareholders.
• Background in investment‑led sectors such as private equity, family office or real estate is advantageous.
