Senior Manager – Legal Management Consulting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join a leading global consulting group’s legal management consulting practice. The role will work with law firms and in‑house legal teams to redesign service delivery, improve efficiency and embed Generative AI responsibly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex legal management consulting engagements, ensuring outcomes meet client objectives.
• Advise legal departments, contracts functions and law firms on operating model, process, people and technology change.
• Manage communications with project teams and senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
• Supervise and develop diverse team members, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Enhance existing offerings, contribute to new service development and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex legal or contracts transformation programmes in consultancy or in‑house settings.
• Strong understanding of in‑house legal operations and contract management challenges.
• Hands‑on experience with organisational assessments, strategy reviews, process redesign and technology‑enabled change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and programme management capability.

Required skills

• Experience with legal operations and contract management tools.
• Familiarity with Generative AI implementation in legal services.

• Salary £80,000‑£85,000 plus bonus and benefits.
