Senior Manager - Restructuring Advisory

About the role

FRP Advisory is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Restructuring Advisory practice in London. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, supporting clients through distressed situations, contingency planning, and insolvency processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage restructuring advisory projects from inception to delivery.
• Provide senior oversight on insolvency engagements, focusing on strategy and operations.
• Conduct contingency planning, options analysis, cash‑flow reviews, and critical cash‑management monitoring.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as the first point of contact.
• Deliver pre‑appointment advice and, where required, participate in formal restructuring procedures.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to the practice’s growth strategy, including publications, marketing collateral, and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in restructuring advisory within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency processes and the ability to lead insolvency appointments.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to complex restructuring situations.
• Confident report writer and financial analyst.
• Proven ability to manage and develop less‑experienced colleagues.
• Willingness to contribute to practice development and thought leadership.
