Senior Manager - RFP & Client Support

About the role

We are partnering with a leading investment management business to appoint a Senior Manager to lead a high‑performing Client Support and RFP function. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on oversight of proposal development, due‑diligence questionnaires and client‑retention activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team delivering RFP responses, due‑diligence questionnaires and client support requests.
• Oversee resource planning, workload allocation and ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
• Remove barriers, provide coaching and support professional development to maximise team performance.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align priorities and manage expectations.
• Handle complex or escalated requests, balancing quality with tight timelines.
• Identify workflow improvements, introduce efficiencies and implement best practices.
• Develop and use management information to monitor performance, capacity and service levels.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance the client experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in RFP writing or proposal management, progressing into a leadership role.
• Strong track record of managing and developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data and use management information for decision‑making.
• Passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional client service.
