Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a fast‑growing technology company that creates advanced hardware at the crossroads of robotics, AI, computer vision and geospatial tech. You will own the mechanical development of next‑generation products, guiding them from concept through to scalable manufacturing in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and new product development from concept to production.
• Design complex assemblies, integrate hardware systems and manage BOMs, inventory and production tooling.
• Oversee procurement, supplier relationships and global logistics.
• Perform mechanical validation, thermal simulations and ensure product compliance (CE, FCC, UKCA, etc.).
• Support transition from prototype builds to small‑batch and full‑scale manufacturing.
• Build and test prototypes and small production runs.
• Mentor and support a growing engineering team.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Product Design.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and taking products to manufacture.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering with electronics integration.
• Experience in manufacturing, procurement or production environments.
