Senior Medical Writer – UK based supporting US clients

About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Medical Writer based in the UK to support its US‑focused clients. The role combines scientific writing, strategic client interaction and the use of AI tools to deliver high‑quality medical content across therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead content delivery for complex projects, ensuring timely execution and high standards.
• Develop compelling narratives from complex scientific data and structure novel projects.
• Drive strategic discussions with clients and external experts, including AI‑enabled project optimisation.
• Mentor junior writers, review their work and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage on‑site programme elements for events and support new‑business scientific content development.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with a degree in a scientific or medical discipline (post‑graduate preferred).
• Proven experience as a medical writer at a senior level, with a track record of client interaction and mentorship.
• Passion for healthcare, science and AI technologies.
