Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to rebuild Nory’s restaurant‑floor mobile app from the ground up. The app is used by staff to clock‑in, view shifts, request leave and receive payments, so reliability in low‑signal, low‑spec environments is critical.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the existing codebase and define a new architecture for the mobile platform.
• Plan and execute the migration, delivering an MVP within one to two quarters.
• Design and implement a reusable design system and modular components in React Native.
• Ensure the app works on patchy connectivity, old devices and unreliable GPS.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams across the company.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience building and shipping mobile applications.
• Strong focus on reliability and performance in challenging hardware and network conditions.
• Ability to work autonomously and own end‑to‑end delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
