Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer (mid‑level to senior) to build and maintain our React Native applications that support healthcare professionals and patients in early skin‑cancer diagnosis. The role combines product thinking with rigorous medical‑device compliance, meaning your code directly contributes to saving lives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide React Native expertise to improve code quality and reduce bugs/performance issues.
• Lead and propose architectural improvements for the mobile codebase.
• Collaborate with product and compliance teams to translate ideas into safe, compliant mobile features.
• Champion traceability and test automation to minimise manual QA effort.
• Shape and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes for repeatable, auditable deployments.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold a quality‑first mindset in a safety‑critical environment.

Required profile

• Advanced experience with React Native, including hooks, navigation, styling and performance optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of iOS and Android build systems, provisioning, certificates and store requirements.
• Proficiency with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane and GitHub/Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience managing TestFlight and Google Play Store deployments, including beta testing tracks.
• Hands‑on experience with unit, integration and preferably end‑to‑end testing (e.g., Appium).
• Familiarity with crash‑reporting tools and a strong focus on traceability.
