Senior .NET Migration Engineer (Cloud Modernization)

About the role

We are modernising a legacy backend estate by moving applications from a London datacentre to AWS and Kubernetes, using .NET 10 as the target runtime. As a Senior .NET Migration Engineer you will create reusable migration pathways, templates and automated pipelines, leveraging AI coding agents to accelerate refactoring.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of backend services to AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring architectural consistency.
• Design and maintain shared libraries, service templates and “golden paths” for .NET applications.
• Build and operate migration pipelines that combine Terraform, CI/CD and AI‑driven code transformation.
• Collaborate with platform teams on observability, networking, security and authentication upgrades.
• Mentor and guide developers in adopting the new cloud‑native stack.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional C# development experience across .NET Core and legacy .NET Framework.
• Hands‑on production experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and modern authentication token patterns.
• Daily use of AI coding tools to improve development efficiency.
