Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join a high‑performing network engineering team within a global financial services environment. The role is hands‑on, focusing on the implementation, configuration and support of complex network and security services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure network and security technologies in production environments.
• Design and engineer new services that meet security, availability and resilience requirements.
• Collaborate with support teams, business units and external partners to deliver end‑to‑end connectivity solutions.
• Translate high‑level architecture into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.
• Participate in change management, production deployments and provide 3rd‑line technical escalation.
• Identify, assess and mitigate operational and technical risks.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure smooth handover to operational support.
• Drive network automation and process‑improvement initiatives where appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong expertise with Skyhigh Security Web Gateway (SWG) and enterprise proxy technologies.
• Proven network engineering, implementation and architecture experience in large‑scale environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
