Senior Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a senior solicitor to join a leading international law firm’s Projects, Development and Construction team on a non‑contentious basis. The role involves advising public bodies, developers, investors and other stakeholders across the full lifecycle of construction and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of construction, development and project documentation.
• Advise clients on procurement routes, risk allocation and contracting strategy at the earliest project stages.
• Manage UK‑focused and international projects, collaborating with overseas law firms and consultants.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Contribute proactively to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 6 years PQE.
• Extensive experience in non‑contentious construction law.
• Strong knowledge of standard form contracts such as JCT, NEC and FIDIC.
• Experience with bespoke and complex development‑led transactions.
• Sector experience in development, investment, housing or accommodation projects is attractive.
• Proven ability to run matters, manage files and handle a varied workload.
