We are partnering with an independent optician in Clapham to find a Senior Optical Assistant who will drive exceptional patient experiences from the moment they walk in to after‑care. The role blends clinical support with retail expertise, requiring a proactive attitude and a passion for personalised eyewear service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and deliver a warm, professional experience throughout their visit.
• Conduct frame‑styling consultations and provide tailored eyewear recommendations.
• Manage appointments, administration and patient communications efficiently.
• Support collections, adjustments, and after‑care of spectacles.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the practice.
• Take ownership of daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and propose improvements to processes and patient experience.
