Senior Organisational Development Advisor

About the role
The Senior Organisational Development Advisor will act as an internal consultant to senior leaders across Glasgow City HSCP, designing and delivering interventions that shape culture, build leadership capability and drive organisational change. This permanent, full‑time position supports the strategic priorities of the health and social care partnership.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver evidence‑based OD, leadership, service design and change initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders, managers and professional groups to improve organisational performance and workforce wellbeing.
- Lead complex OD projects, ensuring systematic, inclusive approaches aligned with values and governance.
- Provide expert advice and hands‑on support for leadership development, change management, workplace wellbeing and service improvement.
Required profile
- Degree‑level qualification in HR, Organisational Development or equivalent experience.
- Extensive consulting experience with director‑level stakeholders, building trust and influencing at senior level.
- Proven track record of applying OD tools and methodologies to achieve high‑value organisational outcomes.
- Strong presentation and delivery skills, capable of inspiring confidence across all levels.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity, translating organisational needs into impactful solutions.
Required skills
- Consulting and influencing skills with senior executives.
- Knowledge of OD practices, tools and methodologies.
- Presentation and facilitation expertise.
