Senior Paraplanner – High Net‑Worth Client Focus

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a small, friendly team in Stevenage. You will act as the primary point of contact for a select group of high‑net‑worth clients, delivering detailed financial analysis and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for high‑net‑worth clients and attend occasional client meetings.
• Train and develop junior staff members.
• Identify and resolve procedural issues, improving internal processes.
• Perform tax calculations, produce comprehensive reports, and maintain compliant record‑keeping.
• Peer‑check reports from team members and liaise with advisers to create holistic recommendations.

Required profile

• Level 4 paraplanner qualification (e.g., CII Diploma) preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a paraplanning role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong report‑writing ability.
• Solid understanding of investments, pensions, trusts, tax planning and inheritance tax planning.
• Familiarity with the IO back‑office system and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
