Senior Paraplanner

About the role

Our client, a well‑established financial planning firm in Alderley Edge, is expanding its advisory team. They are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to provide high‑quality research, reporting and client support as part of a growing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on financial products, funds and technical solutions to support advisors.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, cash‑flow analyses and suitability reports for client recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding to inquiries and providing ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate client records, risk profiles and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory and legislative standards.
• Provide technical support to financial advisors and internal staff.
• Collaborate closely with advisors and administrative teams to deliver excellent client outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a financial planning or advisory environment.
• Strong ability to write complex reports and conduct detailed case assessments.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to identify key insights and make well‑supported recommendations.
• In‑depth knowledge of pensions, retirement planning, investments, tax planning and relevant regulations.
• Chartered status is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, professional integrity and a proactive approach to service development.
