Senior Paraplanner

About the role

Accountancy Action is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to support its financial advisers. You will work in a hybrid model, combining office time in Croydon with remote work, delivering high‑quality research, suitability reports and client recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters for clients.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Analyse existing client arrangements and propose suitable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Financial Advisers to ensure compliant, client‑focused outcomes.
• Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office.
• Liaise with providers and internal teams to gather information and progress cases.
• Assist with complex financial planning cases as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Paraplanner.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and financial planning.
• Excellent report‑writing and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Diploma qualified (Level 4) or working towards Chartered status is advantageous.
