Senior Paraplanner

About the role

Our client is a well‑established independent financial planning business with a strong reputation for client‑focused advice. This senior paraplanner position offers an experienced professional the chance to progress within a collaborative environment and work towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clients' existing financial arrangements, conduct gap analysis and produce strategy reports with high‑level recommendations.
• Research market products, prepare personalised client reports and ensure all advice meets regulatory and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with Financial Advisers, compliance teams and other paraplanners throughout the research, reporting and recommendation process.
• Maintain accurate client records, manage workflow, and provide clear case progress updates.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to a superior client experience.

Required profile

• Experienced paraplanner with a strong desire for professional development and progression towards Chartered status.
• Minimum CII Diploma‑level study (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning preferred or underway).
• Solid knowledge of financial planning, pension transfers, investments and taxation.
• Excellent report‑writing, research and analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulatory and compliance frameworks.
