Senior Paraplanner – Wealth Management

About the role

FindCore is supporting an established independent wealth management firm in Leeds to hire a Senior Paraplanner. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide technical support for financial‑planning activities, produce compliant reports and assist advisers with complex client cases.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, compliant suitability reports within agreed timescales.
• Conduct detailed technical research on financial‑planning products and solutions.
• Prepare client portfolio reviews and detailed cash‑flow models.
• Respond to technical queries from clients and advisers.
• Support advisers with complex pensions, investments and broader financial‑planning cases.
• Maintain and update the firm’s preferred provider panels and monitor recommended products.
• Collaborate with the Technical team to improve standard reports and advisory tools.
• Ensure all advice documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Paraplanner or in a comparable technical financial‑services role.
• Comprehensive experience dealing with pensions; strong knowledge of investments and retirement planning.
• Minimum CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent, with relevant pension‑planning examinations completed.
• Commitment to progress towards the CII Advanced Diploma and Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Proven ability to produce compliant suitability reports and technical research.
