Senior Part Qualified Accountant – £40k‑£45k + Study Support

About the role

This senior part‑qualified accountant position is based in Leatherhead and offers direct client interaction from day one. It is ideal for an ACA or ACCA candidate who wants to broaden experience across a varied portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, international groups and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105, with occasional exposure to IFRS.
• Produce management accounts and support month‑end reporting.
• Compile and submit VAT returns and handle related client queries.
• Maintain day‑to‑day communication with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Assist with consolidated accounts and larger group structures where required.
• Contribute to wider team assignments and support junior staff.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA part‑qualified and committed to completing the professional qualification.
• Experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Comfortable building relationships and communicating directly with clients.
• Exposure to statutory accounts, management accounts and VAT work.
• Familiarity with FRS 102, FRS 105 and an understanding of IFRS is advantageous.
