About the role
The Senior Partnerships Manager will drive the development and execution of strategic partnerships across the higher education ecosystem. Reporting to senior leadership, the role offers high visibility with senior stakeholders and contributes to both domestic and international growth strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement partnership strategies aligned with organisational growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnership opportunities in higher education, corporate, public sector, and international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision‑makers and lead partnership negotiations.
- Manage a portfolio of existing partners, monitoring performance against KPIs and growth targets.
- Produce business cases, market analyses, and partnership proposals to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with recruitment, marketing, academic, and operational teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, networking forums, and partner meetings.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on partnership activity, risks, and opportunities.
Required profile
- Significant experience in partnership development, business development, account management, or stakeholder engagement.
- Background in higher education, education services, international education, or a related sector.
- Proven track record of securing and expanding strategic partnerships.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and performance data.
