Senior Pensions Administrator

About the role

Join WTW’s Outsourcing line of business in Leeds as a Senior Pensions Administrator. Working hybrid, you will support a portfolio of prestigious global clients, handling complex defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes while mentoring junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process and manage complex pension calculations and queries, including retirements, transfers and death cases.
• Check and monitor work completed by junior team members, providing feedback to ensure first‑time right output.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues, non‑standard cases and member complaints.
• Apply pension legislation, regulations and WTW guidance to maintain high‑quality service.
• Support the Team Leader in meeting service level agreements and coordinating team workload.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance client and member experience.
• Assist with complex and project‑based work as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in occupational pension administration, with essential DB scheme experience.
• Strong knowledge of pension legislation and regulations and ability to apply them.
• Proven ability to perform manual DB calculations for retirements, transfers and deaths.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff.
