Senior Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Planner to join the Southern Planning Team based in Southampton, covering the Southern region of Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire. The role involves split responsibilities between the Baker Barracks project and other projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Produce fully integrated programmes incorporating all disciplines with appropriate risk allowances, buffers and contractual completions.
• Monitor and update tender event schedules, procurement schedules, and site logistics including scaffold, temporary power and water requirements.
• Develop information for tender settlements, benchmark data, liaise with sub‑contractors and attend regular site visits.
• Collate progress and as‑built information, forecast programme scenarios and communicate them to project teams.

Required profile

• Construction planning experience within a main contractor environment on projects valued £5M‑£100M+.
• Proven use of Asta Powerproject and ability to work with Bluebeam or similar for take‑offs and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract conditions and ability to implement them in programmes.
