Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own the design, build, and operation of StackOne’s integration platform as it scales across our own cloud and customers’ clouds. Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with security and tech leads to deliver reliable, observable, and cost‑effective infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the AWS estate (ECS Fargate, Aurora, ElastiCache, MSK, OpenSearch, Lambda, KMS) and drive the migration from CDK to Terraform.
• Design and maintain the CI/CD pipeline and automated end‑to‑end testing harness for a monorepo architecture.
• Package and ship self‑hosted versions for customer AWS, GCP, or Azure accounts, including Terraform modules, container images, runbooks and documentation.
• Define release and upgrade processes for self‑hosted customers, including signed releases and usage reporting.
• Establish repository templates and golden paths in partnership with security to ensure secure, deployable code from day one.
• Implement SLOs, observability, and incident‑response practices to keep the platform reliable 24/7.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, SRE or DevOps roles, with hands‑on AWS at scale.
• Deep expertise in Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and AWS CDK/CloudFormation.
• Strong background in CI/CD, monorepo builds, caching and incremental testing.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as TypeScript, Python or Go for tooling development.
• Experience operating containers and Kubernetes clusters in production.
