Senior Platform Engineer – On-Prem OpenShift

About the role

You will join a globally recognised financial services organisation that is transforming its core platform infrastructure. The team builds and operates a large‑scale private cloud platform, focusing on automation, reliability, security and best‑in‑class platform engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, automate and operate an enterprise‑scale on‑premise Kubernetes platform based on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Own the full lifecycle of the platform, from architecture and implementation through to production support.
• Work across compute, networking, storage and security domains to deliver a resilient environment for engineering teams.
• Implement CI/CD and GitOps workflows to enable rapid, reliable delivery of platform changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, systems engineering or DevOps.
• Strong background in infrastructure components such as compute, networking or storage.
• Proven experience building and operating on‑premise Kubernetes platforms.
• Deep Linux administration skills, preferably within Red Hat environments.
• Hands‑on, engineering‑first mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
