Senior Power BI Developer

About the role

Method Resourcing is partnering with a fast‑growing technology company that is reshaping how organisations leverage data for strategic decisions. As a Senior Power BI Developer you will own the enterprise reporting estate, work closely with data engineering and business leaders, and deliver high‑impact visual analytics across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models.
• Build scalable dimensional data models using star‑schema best practices.
• Write advanced DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.
• Optimise report and dataset performance for reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to support data‑warehousing and analytics architecture.
• Implement and enforce Power BI governance, security and reporting standards.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform data validation and quality checks using SQL and other analytical tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BI processes and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or Power BI‑focused roles.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade Power BI solutions.
• Strong commercial experience with enterprise data warehouses and modern BI architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
