Senior Practice Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Practice Accountant to join our accountancy practice in Harrow on the Hill. The successful candidate will take ownership of a range of accounting and tax responsibilities for limited companies while supporting the development of junior team members.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end statutory accounts for limited companies.
- Compile and submit personal and corporate tax returns.
- Process VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements.
- Produce management accounts and perform regular bookkeeping tasks.
- Mentor and guide junior staff in technical and procedural matters.
Required profile
- Proven experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of UK statutory accounting, tax and VAT regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet statutory deadlines.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior accountants.

- Competitive salary range of £35,000‑£45,000 per year.
