Senior / Principal Landscape Architect

About the role

A leading consultancy, known for award-winning landscape design, public realm and masterplanning projects, is recruiting a Senior / Principal Landscape Architect with 2-5 years' experience. The role sits within a collaborative Oxford studio of urban designers, landscape architects, planners and environmental consultants. You will contribute to all RIBA stages, from concept design through to delivery, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, with the chance to take on more responsibility, manage projects independently and mentor juniors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of landscape, public realm and masterplanning projects.
• Produce high-quality graphics, drawings and presentations to communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Support business development through client engagement and relationship building.
• Contribute to a creative and supportive studio environment.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in landscape architecture; urban design experience desirable but not essential.
• Experience working across all RIBA stages.
• Confidence in client-facing roles and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• CMLI status (or working towards it).
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Strong design skills supported by solid technical knowledge.
• Excellent graphic communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD, ideally Revit.
