Senior Private Client Solicitor – Bury

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our well‑established Bury office. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team, handling high‑value private client matters and developing long‑term relationships with a loyal client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review wills, estate plans and lasting powers of attorney.
• Manage probate and estate administration matters.
• Draft and advise on trusts and succession planning.
• Provide inheritance tax advice and planning.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering bespoke legal solutions.
• Mentor junior solicitors and contribute to departmental development.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in private client work.
• Strong technical expertise across the full range of private client matters.
• Client‑focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and proactive attitude.
• STEP membership (or progress towards it) is advantageous but not essential.
