Senior Private Client Solicitor – Hybrid – £73k+ DOE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a respected Exeter law firm. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals, families and trustees on complex wealth and succession planning matters, delivering high‑quality advice in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and manage wills and estate planning documents
• Administer trusts and oversee trust administration
• Handle probate and estate administration matters
• Provide advice on inheritance tax and succession planning
• Prepare and manage Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Represent clients in Court of Protection proceedings
• Develop asset protection and wealth‑structuring strategies
• Advise high‑net‑worth clients, families and trustees on cross‑border private client issues

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
• Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience in private client law
• Proven experience with wills, trusts, probate and estate planning
• Strong client relationship and advisory abilities
• STEP qualification advantageous but not essential
