About the role

We are seeking a senior private client solicitor to join our Leeds office. The successful candidate will work with high‑net‑worth individuals and families, delivering expert advice across a full suite of private client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inheritance tax and estate‑planning advice.
• Draft and review wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney.
• Manage lifetime gifting strategies.
• Oversee Court of Protection and deputyship matters.
• Handle mental‑capacity issues.
• Advise on business succession and private‑company share transfers for high‑net‑worth clients.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in private client work.
• Proven track record handling complex estate‑planning and tax matters.
• Experience advising high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of cases with autonomy.
