Senior Procurement Manager – Professional Services (Hybrid, London)

About the role

The client is a world‑leading retail brand seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to build and run a new professional services procurement function. Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement, you will develop processes, manage tenders and contracts, and work closely with finance, HR, legal, e‑commerce and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tender and contract negotiation processes for the Professional Services category from scratch.
• Lead competitive tenders for paid media, search and other marketing agencies.
• Manage significant US e‑commerce spend and negotiate related contracts.
• Negotiate and oversee travel, catering and in‑house hospitality supplier agreements.
• Identify and deliver cost‑saving opportunities across the supplier base.
• Establish reporting, governance and ways of working for a procurement function less than a year old.

Required profile

• Proven experience building a procurement function or process from the ground up.
• Background in a consumer‑facing business such as retail, FMCG, hospitality or luxury.
• Experience procuring professional and indirect services (marketing, agency, HR, legal, travel).
• Confident, hands‑on operator comfortable working without an existing team or established process.

• Day rate of £450‑£500 (inside IR35).
• 6‑month contract, hybrid working (3 days onsite in London).
