About the role
We are seeking a Senior Product Controller to join a leading global hedge fund where product control sits at the heart of the investment process. The role goes beyond reporting yesterday's numbers – it focuses on understanding why financial figures move and supports sophisticated macro‑trading strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Own daily P&L and valuation analysis across complex fixed‑income products.
- Work directly with traders to explain P&L drivers and investigate valuation issues.
- Partner with Risk, Analytics and Technology teams to enhance valuation models and controls.
- Support new product launches and the onboarding of new trading activities.
- Drive automation and process improvements using technology and data.
- Ensure the integrity of financial information across the business.
Required profile
- Demonstrable experience in Product Control or Valuation.
- Strong knowledge of fixed‑income products.
- Background in a leading investment bank or buy‑side investment firm.
- Advanced Excel skills, with Python or automation experience viewed favourably.
