Senior Product Designer (6‑month contract)

About the role

NatWest Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design thinking across a portfolio of fintech digital projects. This six‑month, remote‑first contract will have you shaping user‑centric experiences, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and delivering high‑impact designs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design thinking, introducing new research techniques and innovative product concepts.
• Produce journey maps, UX wireframes, high‑fidelity UI mock‑ups and interactive prototypes to secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Run and facilitate ideation, brainstorming and critique workshops with multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and business teams to solve design challenges that meet customer and business goals.
• Manage workshops, craft design reports and contribute to playback sessions with senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering customer‑focused digital products, preferably with native mobile design.
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of user research and its impact on design solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.
