Senior Product Development Manager – Complex Assets (Investor Services)

About the role

Citi is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to own the technical strategy and end‑to‑end delivery of Complex Assets solutions within its Investor Services business in London. You will work at the intersection of product vision and technology execution, shaping the architectural roadmap for OTC derivatives, exchange‑traded derivatives and portfolio swaps.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical strategy and architectural roadmap for Complex Assets product delivery.
• Lead the full product development lifecycle, from scoping releases to implementation and testing.
• Partner with Product Management to translate vision into executable plans and functional specifications.
• Oversee solution design, platform build, testing and rollout while removing obstacles for the delivery team.
• Monitor market and client trends to evolve Citi’s product platforms.
• Manage and mentor a team of product development specialists, handling resource allocation and development.
• Maintain rigorous controls, security reviews and compliance testing.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the Complex Assets or Derivatives industry in a senior product development, technology or solution architecture role.
• Deep knowledge of multi‑asset class OTC derivatives, lifecycle events, and processing requirements for exchange‑traded derivatives and portfolio swaps.
• Proven ability to work with senior business leaders, technology and operations partners at a global scale.
