Senior Product Manager, MCP Integrations & Agentic Workflows
lseg · GBR-London-10 Paternoster Square
Job description
About the role
LSEG is hiring a Senior Product Manager for MCP Integrations and Agentic Workflows within its AI team. The role owns the strategy, design and delivery of integration patterns and agentic orchestration that connect LSEG's MCP tools into multi-step, autonomous AI workflows. It defines how LSEG's MCP tools are composed, chained and orchestrated by AI agents across partner ecosystems (Claude, Copilot Studio, OpenAI, open-source frameworks), third-party platforms and internal agentic applications.
Key responsibilities
- Define the integration roadmap for LSEG MCP tools across AI platforms (Anthropic, Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen) and establish integration patterns, reference architectures and best practices.
- Identify and prioritise strategic integration partnerships and define product patterns for multi-step agentic workflows, including tool chaining, conditional branching, parallel execution, human-in-the-loop checkpoints and error recovery.
- Design workflow templates and reference implementations for use cases such as morning briefings, equity research, portfolio rebalancing, credit surveillance and macro scenario modelling.
- Own product requirements for orchestration reliability, ensuring agents handle tool failures, timeouts and guardrail triggers gracefully.
- Design onboarding experiences, sample workflows and integration guides for developers and partners, and maintain demo environments, sandbox configurations and reference prompts.
- Build and nurture a developer community, gather feedback and surface adoption blockers.
- Define guardrails, approval gates and safety patterns for autonomous agents, and partner with AI Governance and Model Risk on auditability, decision traceability and human oversight.
- Design monitoring and alerting for workflow health, tracking completion rates, failure modes, tool call patterns and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Financial Domain Tools PM, the MCP Platform PM, commercial and business development teams, and other product teams.
Required profile
- Product management experience for integrations, APIs, developer platforms or workflow/orchestration products.
- Understanding of agentic AI patterns and familiarity with AI/LLM ecosystems and agent frameworks.
- Experience designing developer-facing products such as SDKs, documentation, reference implementations and sandbox environments.
- Ability to work across ecosystem boundaries with external partners, developer communities and platform providers.
- Preferred: exposure to MCP, function-calling or tool-use patterns in production LLM apps; background in financial services technology, capital markets workflows or enterprise data integration; experience with partnership or ecosystem development; understanding of AI safety, guardrails and governance.
What we offer
- Anticipated base salary of $78,900 - $131,500, with eligibility for the Annual Incentive Plan (bonus plan).
- Eligibility for the LSEG Benefits program, including wellness allowance, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, flex spending and health savings options, prescription drug plan, 401(k) with company match, and life insurance and disability benefits.
