Senior Project Controller – 6‑month contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controller to join a high‑visibility aerospace programme for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Project Control Manager, you will support the Project Control Lead in delivering robust project control across the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Control Lead in delivering PCS elements on time and to standard.
• Develop and maintain project control structures such as WBS, OBS, RBS, control accounts and reporting hierarchies.
• Analyse performance against critical success criteria, identify variances and root causes.
• Maintain baseline integrity through effective change control.
• Implement risk and opportunity management practices.
• Continuously improve project control capability and advise at Line‑of‑Business level.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience as a project controller.
• Resilient and able to adapt to high‑demand environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project.
• Strong cost management, cash‑flow forecasting, variance analysis and integrated reporting skills.
• Eligibility for SC security clearance, BPSS check, and British nationality only.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship and at least five years UK residency.
